Mariela and Santi left Los Angeles to travel full time in their 24-foot home on wheels, Dita. They traded in the big city life to collect experiences rather than material possessions. Their new life has allowed them to travel to multiple states, cities, national parks and more–documenting their experiences along the way.

We are filled with gratitude every time we pull up to a new location. Somehow, every view seems better than the last. What’s your favorite place to eat in the area?

Bonez. They have street Tacos galore and vegetarian options, too. Ambiance and decor is on point. Try the margaritas.

Why do you like it here?

The area is stunning. Crested Butte is a cute little town nestled between mountains, ski resorts and wild landscapes.

How do you decide where to go next?

We research online, talk to locals, and sometimes even pull over while driving to explore something that looks cool. We always take our time, usually driving no more than 30 mins to 2 hours between stops. We don’t like to skip over any areas. We just go with the flow, and we’re never disappointed.

Which views are on your bucket list?

Alaska, and the journey to get there.

What’s one piece of advice you have for RVers?

Take your time. We’ve talked to a lot of experienced travelers and that has been the best piece of advice we’ve gotten since starting our journey. So don’t rush guys, there is so much to see.
