Window to the World Location:
Waco, Texas.
Why do you like it here?
I loved being at the Magnolia Silos because of the way the staff treated everyone as they walked in. It really is a friendly and inviting experience and you feel welcomed from the moment you step inside.
What’s your favorite part about this view?
I love the view because it’s a reminder that there’s so much to see and experience in the world. I especially love the view of my kids looking out the window in wonder. The excitement on their faces and in their voices as they saw every little new thing we passed by. It made me smile to think of the things that traveling together as a family is embedding in their hearts for the future.
How do you decide where to go next?
Sometimes we decide based on how everyone is doing at that moment. Are we too tired for another hour of driving? Or are we up for the adventure and ready to find something fun to explore? Usually, when we’re in a new place, we like to choose what to do based on the experience we will get to have. If it’s unique to the city we’re in, we love to do things in that town that locals would do.
Which views are on your bucket list?
National Parks. Beaches on the East Coast we haven’t visited yet. Historic cities and houses in the South. Views of mountainscapes and beautiful sunsets as we camp along the road and RV together.
What's one piece of advice you have for RVers?
Anything can happen and that’s ok—it’s all part of the adventure! Go into the trip knowing plans can change, things might not go according to schedule, but embrace each new moment as part of the excitement. Traveling and doing new things can gift you with incredible stories.
