Our Adventure-Ready Ambassadors

We've selected 16 RVers from across the country to share their tips, tricks and insights on all things RVing. Whether you're a new, seasoned, or aspiring RVer, our ambassadors offer their tried-and-true experiences so you can confidently hit the road. This cohort touches on everything from motorized to towable RVs, family travel to couples with pets, boondockers to campground aficionados, and slow travel to adventure-seeking. Sherise Gumbs

Meet Sherise — Sherise is from the US Virgin Islands and has been traveling across the United States and Canada for over four years in her 2021 KZ Durango 291BHT fifth wheel, exploring 34 states and counting. As a solo female LGBT traveler and tech enthusiast, she is passionate about staying connected, seeking adventure in nature, and sharing the joys and challenges of RV life via social media. From scenic hikes to solving everyday RV problems, Sherise loves helping others navigate the RV lifestyle.

The Takacs Family

Jason and Alison Takacs are both avid astrotourists and hardcore hikers who travel with their two boys Preston and Grayson. They are a family of part-time RVers regularly in search of dark skies and epic landscapes all across the US. With their Jayco Jay Flight 184BS in tow, the Takacs family is on a quest to show the world how to RV responsibly and still have loads of fun.

The Stolvoort Family

The Stoleys are a family of seven, writing their own American dream from the road in their 2022 Keystone Carbon 398 Toy Hauler. Together with their five kids—Jace, Lena, Luca, Vivi, and Ollie—they are on a mission to explore all 50 US states and inspire as many families as possible to make the most of the time given because tomorrow isn’t promised!

Nicole & Bailey Damberg

Bailey and Nicole are an adventure-seeking couple from Florida who started their RV journey in 2021 as newbies. They currently travel in a KZ RV Durango Gold fifth wheel with their two dogs, Amelia and Olive, as well as their two rescue cats, Archie and Daisy. Together they seek to learn more every day, discover new experiences, and build a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the world around them that they aim to pass down one day.

Patty & Shane Gill

Shane and Patty spent 24 years traveling overseas while Shane served in the Air Force. After becoming empty nesters, they set their sights on exploring the U.S. In 2020, they hit the road to discover the beauty of their own backyard. Now in their fifth year of RVing, they've journeyed through 30 states and are continuing their adventure to visit all 50 states in their Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel.

The Bailey Family

The Wild Thornbaileys are a family of six traveling in their 44 ft Highland Ridge 395BHS Open Range. After almost losing their son to undiagnosed type one diabetes they took their second chance at life, sold everything, and have been adventuring around the country for the past five years with no plan of stopping!

Ben Hicks

Ben Hicks is a photographer who integrates his work with the elements of nature, often shooting in the water, and uses his images as a platform for environmental awareness. His gallery and studio are based in Boca Raton. Ben, along with his wife Cristina, son Carson, daughter Serena, and dog Luna, travels the world in search of the next adventure—RVing, surfing, mountain biking, and more. He built his first overland truck in 2002 but has been camping since childhood, and his family enjoys exploring even more in their Airstream Flying Cloud 25FB.

School teacher, Tammy Benedict, and her hubby, Donny, take advantage of every school break and long weekend by traveling the US in their Keystone Cougar. Instead of waiting for retirement, they decided to start checking off their bucket list in their cozy home on wheels.

The Eyre Family

Meet Lia and Trevor Eyre — A family of adventurers inspiring meaningful, budget-friendly travel. With their 6-year-old daughter Lennon, an imaginative artist who loves painting and clay sculpting, and their two pups, Banana Pig and Mango Salsa, they’ve been exploring the U.S. in their Keystone Sprinter fifth wheel since 2019. Lia, a snowboarder, scuba diver, and endlessly curious content creator, and Trevor, a rock ‘n’ roll musician and freelance web developer, share tips on vegan-friendly eats, epic hikes, and kid- and pet-approved itineraries, all while embracing minimalism and a debt-free lifestyle.

The White Family

Jessica, Zachary, and their son Ryker are an adventurous family who never say no to a new experience! In January 2022, they purchased their first RV and quickly upgraded to a Dutchmen Voltage Triton 4271 later that year. In just two years, they’ve explored 32 states and plan to visit all 50 within the next two years, stopping at every National Park along the way!

Gabe and Rocio, along with their adventure-loving dogs Wilson and Journey, are RV travelers and storytellers. Since 2018, they’ve traveled over 100,000 miles, in various RVs and explored breathtaking destinations across North America. Currently, their 2021 Thor Motor Coach Delano 24RW is their home on wheels and perfectly balances their work and wanderlust. As THOR Ambassadors, they’re passionate about inspiring others with their RV tips, tricks, and adventures from the road.

The Saul Family

The Saul family, a family of four, made the bold decision to leave their home in Asheville, North Carolina, and hit the road in their Heartland Cyclone 4150 toy hauler. Passionate about travel, they love exploring new destinations and sharing their experiences—whether it's uncovering hidden gems, tasting local cuisine, or immersing themselves in new cultures. Their goal is to inspire and empower others to pursue their travel dreams and embrace the freedom and flexibility that a nomadic lifestyle offers.

John King

John King is a Country Music Artist and Songwriter who found a way to blend his love for camping and family life with his career. When he’s traveling to shows, he and his family use their Cruiser MPG travel trailer as a home away from home and an oasis for creative inspiration.

In 2018, Shaun and Renee decided to trade the typical American dream for life on the road. Driven by the desire to spend as much quality, adventurous time with their five young children as possible, they downsized their life to explore the USA in their Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer with dirt bikes, mountain bikes, and paddle boards in tow.

The Arango family is a passionate group of five, embracing the freedom of van life as they explore the United States. Their journey began in 2023 with their Thor Motor Coach Twist 2JB, a compact and versatile RV perfectly suited to their adventurous lifestyle. Committed to sustainability, outdoor exploration, and building meaningful connections, they travel the country with their three kids, making unforgettable memories along the way.
