Our camping style is all about flexibility, comfort, and adventure, and we always try to strike a balance between the wilderness and metropolises. Sometimes you’ll find us staying in National Parks, scenic campgrounds, off-the-beaten-path locations, and anywhere that allows us to hike, mountain bike, and fish. Other times, you’ll find us immersed in small towns, local culture and unique destinations! 

Something that always lifts our spirits is spending time outdoors with each other as a family!

Our preferred type of camping is boondocking and staying at state parks. Boondocking offers the freedom to camp in more remote, serene locations with stunning views, far away from crowds. We also appreciate state parks for their convenience and amenities. They provide easy access to hookups, allowing us to charge our batteries, empty our tanks, and ensure everything is ready for the next leg of our journey, all while keeping costs down. Plus, state parks often have great activities for kids and families, making them perfect for a fun and well-rounded camping experience.

One of the best pieces of advice we've received on the road is to embrace flexibility. While it's great to have a plan, being open to changes and unexpected detours often leads to the most memorable experiences. Whether it’s taking a last-minute side trip to explore a hidden gem or adjusting our schedule to accommodate weather or road conditions, this mindset has allowed us to enjoy the journey more fully and adapt with ease as a family.

Our travel philosophy is all about embracing the journey and finding joy in the simple moments. We believe in exploring at our own pace, immersing ourselves in nature, and making lasting memories as a family while staying flexible and open to new experiences along the way.
