I love camping off-grid, in very gorgeous places. And during the winter, I camp in RV Parks!
Seeing how beautiful places are, even in your backyard, can be so inspiring! Getting outside and letting myself soak in the sights always lifts my spirits.
Boondocking is the most scenic and fun for me because it allows you to truly connect with nature. I can be very antisocial at times and I love how meditative it is to be by myself, so being out somewhere remote is rejuvenating. RV parks are a close second because I love the unlimited water and proximity to excursions.
Do not wait until the perfect conditions arrive in your life to start RVing—because there will never be a “perfect time.” I have stayed in a few 55+ RV parks and I can’t tell you how many people have friends who waited so long for that perfect moment with an RV sitting in their driveway that they passed away and missed their chance entirely.
Prepare for anything to go wrong and know that the things that go wrong always make the story better. Unexpected things can and will happen, but it's how you react to the situation that makes for an interesting story that you can share with someone in the future.
Also, it’s important to travel to places that spark your interest, even if you have to go by yourself. You only live once and have one life. Don’t spend it waiting!
